ONLINE STORE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Introduction
The use of the DEK Magazine Store is governed by the policies, terms and conditions set forth below. Please read them carefully. Your use of this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Your placement of an order to the DEK Magazine Store indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. DEK Magazine reserves the right to make changes to this site and these terms and conditions at any time.
2. Payment
Payment is required at the time of purchase and placement of your order. Payment is charged/debited at the end of the complete check-out process. You will not be charged prior to the final step, and can choose not to proceed at any time before payment is taken. DEK Magazine accepts payment via Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and PayPal. You must comply with the applicable T&Cs of these providers. Please contact chat@dekmag.com if you have any questions about invoicing and payment for goods.
3. Shipping
Most orders will ship out within two days of ordering. Your order will be shipped Standard service unless otherwise indicated. Once shipped, orders are generally received within 10 business days (UK only). We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays. While we will do all we can to ensure your order is delivered as quickly as possible, DEK Magazine cannot be held responsible for delays or loss incurred by third party postage or freight providers. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, shipping and/or delivery time may take considerably longer. Please allow 40 business days from shipping date for arrival (excluding Bank Holidays). For information on the new legislation and post Brexit status to customers in the EU, click here. Failure to collect from customs/postal service is not the responsibility of DEK Magazine.
4. Returns and Exchanges
All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges. If our products arrived damaged in any way, please contact us right away at chat@dekmag.com
5. Pricing and Availability
Whilst DEK Magazine try to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on the DEK Magazine Store are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
6. Claims for Compensation
(a) The Customer must notify the Company of any loss or damage giving rise to a claim within 30 days of the date of despatch. The Customer should confirm any loss or damage by providing the Company with evidence supporting such claim within 28 days of request for such evidence. If the Customer fails to do so, the Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage, save and except where the Customer proves that:
(i) it was not reasonably possible for the Customer to advise the Company or make such claim in writing within the time limit applicable; and
(ii) such advice or claim was made within a reasonable time
in which case the Company shall not have the benefit of exclusion of liability afforded by this Condition 6(a).
(b) In the event of a claim for damage for a domestic Consignment, the Customer must ensure that the Consignment and its packaging is held for inspection at the Delivery Address within the United Kingdom. For all Consignments (both domestic and those sent on an International Service), the Customer must also provide photographic evidence with the evidence submitted in accordance with Condition 6(a).
(c) In the event of a claim for loss the Customer must complete, or procure that the Consignee completes, a denial of receipt letter upon the Company’s request.
(d) A payment of any claim by the Company shall be in full and final settlement of such claim.
(e) In any event, any claim made by the Customer must be made within 30 days from the date of despatch.
7. Privacy Policy
Our privacy policy, which sets out how we will use your personal information, can be found at Privacy Policy. By using this DEK Magazine Store, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, and warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.
8. Order Confirmation
When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order. This email will only be an acknowledgement and will not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract between us for the purchase of the goods will not be formed until your payment has been approved and our billing agent has debited your credit or debit card.
9. Registration
Where you register for the DEK Magazine Store the stated terms and conditions apply. You must provide us with true and accurate registration information. You must keep any user name and password allocated to you confidential, and we are entitled to assume that anyone using that user name and password is you.
